I wrote this dance in response to the following request by Muriel.Gravemaker

‘May I ask you to write a dance for me and my friends. We are a group of men and women with
their roots in former Nederlands Indie, now known as Indonesie. I have a wonderful song, from
an Indonesian country singer. He sings about all the people of the world, white, black, rich, poor,
who are in God’s eyes, all the same. Could you please name the dance, “No Difference”.’

It’s not a hard dance in spite of the intermediate level grading, so give it a go.
It’s slow and emotive and I hope you enjoy it!

See you on the floor sometime…. Jan
