Contra Line Fun dance
Start by forming 2 circles, one inside the other. Facing your partner, make a ¼ turn to the right so that your left shoulder is touching your partner’s left shoulder.
NOTE: for this dance the INNER CIRCLE moves CLOCKWISE and the OUTER CIRCLE moves COUNTER-CLOCKWISE
Intro 16 counts from start of music
S1: Grapevine Right touch, Grapevine 1/4 left touch
1,2,3,4Right side step left behind right touch left next to right.
5,6,7,8Left to left side step right behind left make a 1/4 turn left touch right next to left
(YOU ARE NOW FACING YOUR PARTNER)
S2: Step right together, step right together (NEW PARTNER) slap hands clap and repeat
1,2,3,4Step right to right side, step left next to right, step right to right side, step left next to right
5,6,7,8Slap both hands to your partner’s hands then clap and then repeat steps 5,6,7,7
