With a weave and turning jazz box, I would never teach this to absolute beginners, but to students with a little more experience.

Reply to Pismo: I always give absolute beginner's the option to just take 4 steps and turn to face the next wall. A weave is one of the most basic steps to teach first timers. The dance has all single steps and no tags or restarts which makes it an AB Absolute Beginner dance.

This is a very sound dance to good music. You need to know your class's ability. I intend to teach it next week as my students have bee dancing for 7 months, some for much longer and just want to have fun with the music and steps. I know they will enjoy it. It's all about the focus and this is what we teach as well

I love the line dance, fun song and moves, with a nice flow. ... But it is not Absolute Beginner. For me the extra turns make it tricky.
I'd love a way to ** vote on the dance Level **. Banjo Bump... now THAT one is absolute beginner. :)

Can you imagine a page that has guidelines on what makes a line dance absolute beginner, beginner, high beginner or improver? AB = The class can follow my dancing with zero explanation. Where can a person go to learn how to judge the level of a dance? * turns * tags * restarts * variety of moves * speed * variety of styles * hard work or relaxing
