I see that this step sheet is written as all whole counts except in the 6th and 8th group of steps where you have written in 3&4& steps. I've never seen a step sheet written like this when all the way through the choreography there are & counts. When I count it out as most dances would be written, it becomes a 32 count dance. Maybe I'm missing the boat and not seeing the entire picture but maybe you could straighten me out on your style of counting. I've been dancing and writing choreography for 25 yrs but this is the first time I've seen a sheet written like this. The dance is a beautifully performed progression all the way through and I'd love to teach it but trying to follow the way it is written is extremely hard to do. Are you teaching this dance with the count the way you have it written here?...or are you instructing it with & counts which are not shown?? Believe me, this is an honest inquiry and I am in no way trying to criticize you. I'm just honestly trying to figure out if this is a new way(or possibly Euro way)of doing counts that is a change in the order that we are evolving into now!! I've seen so many changes in my 25 years now that I never pretend to assume I know it all or have seen everything.
