Heather Barton from Scotland,
I have been teaching line dance for over 20yrs after becoming a qualified D&G Instructor, my mentor was thee one and only Lizzie Clarke who put me through all my exams..
I thank her for this and will always admire her dedication to her pupils... Line dance has become a big part in my life and that is how I met my husband Steve, although it is not our full time work ( I am a Hairdresser and Steve a Heating engineer) we love doing what we do, I have dabbled with a bit of choreography and my dances seem to be doing extremly well..
The first to be danced around the world was Picking up the pieces... the biggest tho and reaching Number 1 on copperknob was CECILIA which I co-choreographed with my lovely friend Willie Brown, hope you take time out and try the others ..
we also work for Kingshill Holidays and this allows us to keep on meeting loads of fab people who become firm friends.
Thank you to everyone that supports my club THE BOOTLEGGERS and all those that dance my dances ...
Heather xx
